Updating an App

All Livelabs Creative apps include a built-in update checker that runs automatically on launch.

Automatic Updates​

When a new version is available, you will see a notification on launch prompting you to download and install the update. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the update.

The update checker only notifies you of updates relevant to your platform. macOS users will not receive Windows update prompts, and vice versa.

Manual Updates​

If you need to update manually — for example if the in-app updater is unavailable — you can download the latest version directly from the Livelabs Creative website using your original magic link.

Lost your magic link?

You can retrieve it from app.lemonsqueezy.com/my-orders using the email address you purchased with.

Windows​

  1. Uninstall the existing version via Settings → Apps or Control Panel → Programs and Features
  2. Download the latest .exe installer
  3. Run it and follow the on-screen prompts
  4. Your settings and licence will be preserved

macOS​

  1. Delete the existing app from your Applications folder
  2. Download the latest .pkg installer
  3. Run it and follow the on-screen prompts
  4. Your settings and licence will be preserved
tip

If the app does not update correctly, try uninstalling the existing version and reinstalling from scratch. Your licence is stored separately and will be preserved.

Checking Your Current Version​

Your current version is shown in the bottom status bar of the app.
